Smart Automobile is a mini-car and miniature car series operated by Geely Holdings and the German Daimler joint venture. It has multiple associations with the Group's Mercedes-Benz, including designers and parts. The idea of the Smart series began in the 1970s, and finally launched the first mass production in 1998.
